I missed a week. (I didn't have Internet.) I missed my concert. (It was canceled.) I missed my home. (I was away for a few days.) But, I'm back now and I hope to be here every week. I posted two new songs to make up for my lack of posting and I'm here doing my discussion day – so hopefully you guys don't mind too much? So, basically, my concert got canceled. Either way, I still went to San Juan or more specifically, to Viejo San Juan. Seeing as it was my brother's last week of work at his summer job, I went to hang out with him. We crashed at my cousins' apartment right smack dab in the middle of the city. Therefore, we spent those days walking around to all the tourist destinations. It was super fun :) We went to el Morro, to the shops, we flew a kite, we ate at a restaurant – it was some cool bonding time. Now that I'm back over here, I ended up having to leave the house for a few days, because our power got cut. (Again). Lifestyles of the rich & famous this is not. It's back now though, and although I've also had an emotional last few days because of some family stuff, I think things are a bit better. We're a work in progress over here and that was never more apparent than it was this week. We need to take things one step at a time, learn that a good cry is never a bad thing, be thankful for all that we have and have patience for all that may come. And also, we just need to breath.
