Seen any good movies recently?

Well I guess it's time to take a step back and instead of posting something personal just talk about some good ol' movies.

I love watching movies. I could freaking watch them forever, as of recently I've spent a lot of time on Netflix watching movies and about two weeks ago I went to see X-Men: Days Of Future Past. I personally prefer the movie theaters because come on (who are we kidding) that giant screen, the surround sound, and the popcorn.

So, let's talk about X-Men:DFP, in short, was amazing! Holy crap the brought back cool guys, and they gave life to cooler guys and, and....ugghhhh so good. Anyways avoiding any spoilers: Best X-Men movie ever. Sentinels were amazing, the mutants were awesome and holy shit the action scenes.

Now on to Netflix: About two days ago I watched Crystal Fairy & the Magical Cactus and 2012, starring Michael Cera and Gaby Hoffman. Let me give you a summary, it's a stoner movie where Michael Cera's character wants to get high off this cactus that only grows in Chile and Gaby Hoffman plays a hippy american that is in Chile for what the fuck ever reason, they meet at a party, he invites her to find the cactus and the next day Cera and the rest of his party meet up with Hoffman and on they go on to search for the cactus. It's a pretty good story about finding yourself and just all around has a really good feel.

Both movies are great, I suggest you get to them both, if you're into action X-Men:DFP is right down your ally, but if you want a more heartfelt indie movie shot in 10 days Crystal Fairy & the Magical Cactus and 2012 is more your cup of tea.
