Funky Town
As you've probably noticed – I missed my posting day. Lovely. Also, Iyan already posted his – hi! I'll read it in a bit haha Honestly, I've yet to figure out what to talk about right now, because as it stands, I've been in a bit of a funk. I don't think there's any particular reason for it, just me being a generally [insert adjective here] person.
Anyway, some basic updates on my life sound like a good starting point. Ahem:
My younger brother got his nose broken at his Kenjutsu practices. It – thankfully – looked more painful than it was, and also thankfully required no surgery – just time. He looks like a raccoon tho. Haha Brother is also spending a month away in San Juan (aprox. 2 hours away) at his Summer job, so that's pretty cool for him.
I've gone to the movies (Godzilla was ~something) & I went to Puerto Rico Comic Con which was dope. :) I spent some time with my friends and family and next up I will be: Hanging out at my town's Pride activities this weekend, going to an Icona Pop Concert, going to my cousin's Quinceañera & going to my other cousin's Wedding. That's without mentioning my upcoming birthday (and the birthdays of a few close friends and relatives). So far, so good I guess!
I'm excited for all of these things and well, it's the waiting period in between them that's killing me. I guess I'm feeling a bit lonely? Which, I know I know, kind of silly. Hopefully I'll be heading out to the beach soon and just finding some sort of inner peace, because it's honestly tiring to feel so _____ all the time. And as you can tell I can't even properly express what I'm feeling. Joy to the world. Anyway, hopefully you all have some fun things planned out for your Summer so far – and it you have any advice on how to get myself out of this self-imposed funk, please feel free to share!
