Bienvenidos - That's Spanish for Welcome.

Hello! I'm going to start by saying that I had no idea what to talk about in this, the first ever WCIW Discussion Days Post. I mean, I've got the themes and topics for the next few weeks planned out, but as far as this first post goes? No idea. Maybe that's better? Because I think I'm just going to talk to you about why I decided to start this project. If you've read our "Who We Are" section, then you'll know that I'm an aspiring writer; and as every aspiring writer knows, writing is the thing we do the least. With that in mind, I made somewhat of a New Year's Resolution back in January. Basically, it was to write more. It took a while to get it going, but from there, WCIW came to life. A place where I could put into words all these things that I face in my regular ol' life. Maybe you've faced them too or maybe you know someone who has. Here, we can talk about it. We can all connect and collide in our words. Which means, this adventure is just as much yours as it is mine and Iyan's. Join us. You're all invited. :) So, to give you a teaser of what's to come:
